Amazon bulk listing audit: check every SKU in your flat file

Free Amazon bulk listing audit: upload a flat file or Category Listings Report and check every SKU against Amazon’s rules. CSV and PDF export, in your browser.

Gazi El Halabi ·

In short

Drop in a Seller Central flat file, a Category Listings Report or a CSV export and every SKU is checked against the same rules as the listing auditor: a score per SKU, the issues that affect most of your catalogue, and CSV and PDF exports. The file is read in your browser and never uploaded.

Which files it reads

FileWhere to get itWhat it takes from it
Category Listings ReportSeller Central → Inventory → Inventory ReportsEvery listing’s title, Item Highlights, bullets, description, search terms and brand
Flat file templates (.xlsx / .xlsm)Add products via upload, or the template you already fill inThe current format, with one column per marketplace and language, and the older format (item_sku, bullet_point1…)
CSV, TSV or TXTAny export or spreadsheet saved as CSVColumns recognised by name in English, Spanish, German, French or Italian, or mapped by hand

It finds the template sheet and the row with the attribute names on its own, skips Amazon’s example row and leaves parent SKUs out unless you include them. When a template holds several marketplaces or languages, you choose which one to audit. It has been tested on 2026 Seller Central templates for Amazon.es and Amazon.de.

What it checks

Each SKU goes through the same rules as the Amazon listing auditor: Amazon’s title, bullet point, detail page and search terms requirements, each with its Seller Central source, plus best practices labelled as such. Keyword and localisation checks are left out, since they need a target list or a second language per SKU.

Partial updates are audited fairly. When every row of a flat file is a partial update (for example a file that only changes titles and Item Highlights), only the fields in the file are checked: a missing description is not counted against a file that was never meant to carry one. In a full update, an empty field counts as missing.

What you get

  • The catalogue’s average and median score, and how many SKUs are solid, have room to improve or need work.
  • How many SKUs break an Amazon requirement.
  • The issues that affect most SKUs, so you fix one problem across hundreds of listings at once.
  • A searchable table with every SKU’s score and findings.
  • Two CSV exports, one row per SKU or one row per finding, ready for Excel, and a branded PDF report.

Private by design

The file is opened and audited on this page. Nothing is uploaded or stored, and it keeps working offline once the page has loaded. The CSVs and the PDF are created on your device.

What it does not check

  • Images, video and A+ Content.
  • Whether variation families are built correctly (parent and child rows are only read to leave parents out).
  • Attributes beyond the text fields, and the live pages, which Amazon may already have rewritten.

When the problem is the whole catalogue, that is the work I do as an Amazon consultant. Start with a free mini-audit.
