Who is responsible
Gazi El Halabi, Madrid, Spain. Contact for any privacy request: [email protected].
What is stored
When you request a certificate: your full name, your email address, your score and level, the certificate ID, the language and date, and whether you agreed to be contacted.
To limit attempts and stop cheating, a one-way salted hash of your IP address is kept with the number of attempts and the questions already shown. The IP address itself is not stored.
Why, and on what basis
To issue your certificate and let anyone you share it with verify it (your consent, given with the first box).
To contact you about professional opportunities or news, only if you ticked the second, optional box (your consent).
To enforce the five-attempt limit and keep results fair (legitimate interest).
Who can see it
The verification page behind your certificate’s QR code shows your name, score, level, date and certificate ID to anyone who has the link. Your email is never shown.
Data is hosted by Vercel (website) and Upstash (database, EU region, Frankfurt). Data is not sold or shared with anyone else.
How long
Certificate records are kept for 24 months, or until you ask for them to be deleted. Attempt counters expire after 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, withdraw your consent or object to its use at any time by writing to [email protected]. Deleting your record also stops your certificate from being shown as verified.
You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, aepd.es).
